Eva Wassermann
Eva Wassermann joined GEM in 2012 and is a Senior Managing Director on the acquisitions team for GEM Realty Properties. In this role, Eva sources and underwrites investments in the lodging sector and engages with GEM’s hotel asset management. Additionally, she leads GEM’s external media and communications.
Prior to joining GEM, Eva was the Principal of State Parkway Advisory, an investment and consulting firm focused on both hotel acquisitions and asset management. Prior to that, she was a Vice President for Hilton and held management roles with Strategic Hotels & Resorts, the Yarmouth Group, Kenneth Leventhal & Co., and Laventhol & Horwath.
Eva serves as the Incoming Chair of the Board of Advisors for the Collins College of Hospitality Management at California Polytechnic University, Pomona, is a member of the Board of Directors for the American Hotel & Lodging Association, and is the Secretary of the Board of Directors for Hydro Electronic Devices. She received a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant & Travel Management from California Polytechnic University – Pomona.
