Norman Geller
Norm Geller co-founded GEM in 1994. Norm serves as a Chairman of the Executive Committee where he oversees corporate strategy and acts as an Executive Chairman of GEM Realty Properties, advising on broad platform strategy and investment themes. Additionally, as a member of the Investment Committee, he is involved in setting firmwide investment strategy. Norm is also a member of GEM’s Risk and Valuation Committees.
Prior to GEM, Norm was an Executive Vice President of JMB Realty Corporation where he formed and led the loan restructuring group. Prior to that, he was in the portfolio management group where he was responsible for the strategic planning and performance of various types of real estate assets in the JMB portfolio.
Norm received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
