Serena Sommerfield
Serena Sommerfield joined GEM in 2025 and is an Associate on the asset management team for GEM Realty Properties. In this role, Serena supports both asset and portfolio-level management of GEM’s private-market real estate investments.
Prior to joining GEM, Serena was an Associate Vice President at DWS where she covered multifamily, industrial, retail, and office assets. Before that, Serena worked on the debt transaction team, was an investment analyst on the wealth management team, and completed rotational analyst program at Deutsche Bank.
Serena received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston College.
